I first want to remind everyone of the Federation’s
desperate need for food. To assist in this effort, the Sisterhood
and Men’s Club is sponsoring a food drive. When speaking
with the Federation, the need for cans of soup is immediate.
So, as you purchase food items for yourself, please remember
those less fortunate. If you bring your donation to the
synagogue, we will ensure the Federation receives your items.
Cash donations are also greatly accepted. The Federation uses
all funds to purchase needed food items.
I want to thank the Men’s club for the wonderful breakfast
on January 22nd. The food was great, the company fantastic,
and the speaker was educational.
Our February event will be in conjunction with the Palm
Coast Chapter of Hadassah. On Sunday, February 19th at 2:
00 pm, please join us for a conversation with Gerald A.
Honigman, author of The Quest for Justice in the Middle East,
the Arab-Israeli Conflict in Greater Perspective. We are
requesting a donation for this event in the amount of $5 to
cover the cost of the desserts that will be served plus one can of
soup for the federation. Aaron Weiss and I both have tickets
for this event.
